Breathe Easier, Sleep Better – Airway Focused Dentistry in New England

Comprehensive Airway Focused Dentistry
At the TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centre of New England, we specialize in airway focused dentistry that goes beyond traditional care. Our treatments address the root causes of breathing difficulties that can lead to TMJ disorders, sleep apnea, and developmental concerns in children.
Restoring Healthy Breathing for All Ages
Our airway centered dentistry approach recognizes the connection between oral health, airflow, and overall well-being. Using advanced diagnostics, we help patients—from children to adults—restore proper breathing patterns, improving sleep, jaw function, and long-term health.
Pediatric Airway Dentistry for Healthy Growth
Our pediatric airway dentistry services focus on identifying and addressing breathing and jaw development issues early. From mouth breathing and tongue ties to poor jaw growth, these conditions can affect a child’s sleep, mood, and academic performance. By treating them during key developmental years, we guide proper facial growth, prevent future dental complications, and support long-term, healthy sleep patterns.

What is Airway Dentistry?
Airway dentistry—sometimes called airway centered dentistry—is a form of dental care that emphasizes the importance of proper breathing, particularly through the nose. Instead of just treating symptoms like snoring or jaw pain, airway dentistry focuses on identifying anatomical or functional issues that may be interfering with airflow.
We assess everything from tongue posture and jaw alignment to sleep patterns and nasal function. This comprehensive approach allows us to offer personalized treatments that lead to long-term relief and improved quality of life.

Why Choose Us For Airway Centered Dentistry?
We understand the critical connection between the mouth, jaw, airway, and sleep. Many patients come to us after years of snoring, fatigue, clenching, or breathing problems that other treatments didn’t resolve. Using state-of-the-art technology, we assess airway restrictions, tongue posture, and jaw alignment to create effective, minimally invasive treatment plans.

We’re committed to long-term wellness, making us a trusted airway health dentist in Massachusetts.
Meet Dr. Amparo David

Her approach to airway centered dentistry is rooted in identifying and addressing the root causes of breathing and sleep disruptions, especially in patients with TMJ issues, sleep-disordered breathing, or craniofacial development concerns. She takes the time to understand each patient individually and encourages active participation in treatment decisions.
Dr. David is recognized nationally as one of the few dentists who holds Diplomate status in four major professional academies, including the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine. She was among the first providers in New England to incorporate advanced laser therapy for TMJ and airway issues and regularly trains other dentists through hands-on courses in her practice.
